Newbie here so getting round isn't easy for me right now.
I've got Zgemma H.2s and trying to attach NAS drive.
Just wondered if I need to setup a dir list on NAS before connecting?

It could be your epg is set to download at that time and if you have no usb or hdd install it could be maxing out your memory and causing the freeze.
Check the epg is setup to store to the usb stick then and not the internal flash.

could anyone please help I have been given a zgemma star 2s it was factory reset I have managed to get everything setup apart from the sky channels I have got file zilla and have made a CCcam file and input
C: host port user password (the same as I was using on a open box ) but nothing I have searched the web but there is nothing newer than 2015 posts,vids I have tried multiple way to no avail can any one please get me up and running oh and I'm not that up on tech so please be gentle

What it the image your using and have you installed the actual CCcam emu ?
The line should look like this
C: dns 12000 user pass no { 0:0:2 }

Just bought a zgemma box that came with a line etc.
I have Blue HD and all the channels, which work fine.
He mentioned something about other places I can get films from, and he has installed me some stuff like TS Media, Greek streams, There is also Kodi and a couple of others. I have no idea what to do with them though, I am a complete newbie at this.
Is there a manual or something I can read to learn what to do?
Im a complete novice and really keen to learn.
I have bought a Cruzer 32GB USB (as I read thats what people recommend) but unsure if I need it for making a back up? or is it for recording?
Any help gratefully received, I just want to learn and be able to use the box properly, not just watch the channels already on it (a manual or basic guide to what to do from switching it on to advanced would be ideal)

You can use the 32gb stick for epg,picon storage etc as well as space for you to make a backup on.
You wont have much in the way of recording duration but it will work if you set the recording path.

Sorry, but I don't have a clue how to do anything with it, I really need help from the very basics onwards.
Does anyone know any links to where I can read or watch a video specifically aimed at a newbie to this malarkey?
