Microsoft may have announced its Xbox One console significantly later than Sony did the PlayStation 4, but the software maker appears to be making up for lost time in spades. Today, the company has announced a boatload more games heading to its forthcoming console, bringing the current total up to fifty. With more on the way, we’re finally getting down to the really tantalizing bit as far as the gaming community is concerned, and with such a wide variety of games now confirmed for the Xbox One, there’s something for everyone.

As both Sony and Microsoft look to sway the opinion of floating voters, there are plenty of titles that will either arrive exclusively to Xbox One, be available for the Redmond company’s console first, or offer bonus / added content that PlayStation 4 users will not be able to access. Of course, it works both ways, with Sony having made a fair few deals of its own, but in this ongoing tit-for-tat in the run-up to the fall arrival of the Xbox One and PS4, Microsoft is certainly throwing down the gauntlet just now.

The big titles like FIFA 14 and Battlefield 4 will all offer exclusive content only for Xbox, as will the insatiably-popular next installment of Call of Duty, entitled Ghosts.

The likes of Powerstar Golf, Killer Instinct, Minecraft: Xbox One Edition and Sunset Overdrive will join the already expansive list of titles announced for Xbox One, and with so much variety, consumers are going to be rather spoilt for choice. If you’re a first-person shooter type, you’ll probably be swayed towards the likes of Battlefield 4 or CoD Ghosts, but if you’re more into shifting gears and burning rubber, you’ve got a true mainstay in the form of Forza Motorsport 5.

You can check out the full list of titles with more details over at the source link below, and with the Xbox One projected to be hitting the retail market in November, we don’t have a lot of time to wait before we can finally get stuck into some of these great titles on the brand-new hardware.

Meanwhile, for your convenience, here’s the text list of the complete titles below:

I think I'm gonna have to get Battlefield 4 and the new CoD as a minimum ;)

games are always more expensive at the beginning of every new generation. they will return to normal, as they always do.

Its a real shame Destiny is not released this side of xmas but it looks amazing, but in the meantime COD will have to suffice
