make sure its ok before you take it apart there a lots of post from people saying that there getting freeze ups black screens they say micrsoft never checked the consols take it apart you invaladate the box i was going to use my box for a while make sure its ok before i let some one chip it .

Freezing is common if most of the new Xbox 360s. Most common cause of this is the usual M$ problem. Can't cope with too many things at once. It seems fine until you try to play a game and send messages or check the dash etc.
