xbox chipping

can an xbox be chipped to play vcd,svcd,dvd etc?if so who does it and how much
 
After the Xbox is chipped, you can use the Xbox media player to play vcds,svcds & divx movies, I have the xecuter chip fitted, never had any probs, as for fitting, they are pretty simple to diy
 
m8 i have no of 2 lads that chip them i got mine chiped it is some job pm me and i will tell you who they are
 
if your not in N IRELAND it is no good

i seriously need my lads 360 chipping so he can play up to date games via an external hd drive
it is already flashed but not the up to date one as i am told that all his older games will be coasters if we apply the latest drive flash
anyone near the hull area you can reccommend please

If you want to play games from a hard drive you need to look into rgh consoles

I'm after a 360 myself all singing and dancing, I'm that behind on them I'm struggling to make sense of what type I should go for. The main things I would like are been able to play the latest games from an external HD and go online if that's possible ( but not a necessity) were's the best place pick one up ?.
 
Not sure why a thread from 2004 about "Original Xboxes" has been re-opened to discuss this?
