Hi Guys

My son bought call of duty advanced warfar today and managed to put two discs into his xbox 360 at the same time, this has damaged the game disc with deep gouges on the surface, now the disc will not work and I have one unhappy child.

I've tried the toothpaste method and chapstick method to try and recover the disc but no go, so here is my question can I copy these discs using a good version from one of his mates? I'm ok with dvd copying but never tried a xbox game. Other option is to download the disc or something. Anyone any advice.

Thanks.

no you cant just copy it..

could take it back to the shop you bought it from and chance yer luck?

both myself and the other half are not really like that, maybe just best to buy another copy, it was on sale at £30.00.

Oh Well

the lad knackered a gamew in his xbox, was a COD one funnily enough.

shop said it ws laser burn, he must have moved the console with the disk runnning.

to be fair, they were ok about it and replaced the game..

Which one of the video shops has a DVD polisher? Blockbuster?

Not even sure if any of these exist now :).

Try some T-Cut.

i'll just go back to the shop tomorrow and tell them exactly what happened, ask if they have anyway to repair the disc (they do used games) and if they cannot well just buy another copy.

with it being Xbox 360 just flash it and download the game save you buying a new game

no it wont get banned if done right and yes still can play online
