Hi all
OK, sons fat xbox360 20gb hard drive was full, got a 120gb off a family member put it in the xbox360 then of course realised nothing on the hard drive. So here we go.
I took out the 20gb took the hard drive out of the case connected it to my pc used Xplorer360, took an image of the hard drive, all went well. Put it back together so son could play his games, all was ok.
Took the 120gb apart connected it to my pc, used Xplorer360 to write the image to the 120gb it wouldn't write it, searched about and found out it goes into a loop, and to do it manually, so I did, I opened the image and dumped partitions 2 and 3 so I could write them to the 120gb hard drive and it all seemed to go well. So plugged it into the xbox and nothing, no profile or saves or anything and now the 120gb hard drive is showing 58gb but not showing anything saved on it.
Both the 20gb and 120gb are Hitachi travelstars.
Any advice on getting the full hard drive back and transferring the data would be appreciated, also feel free to laugh at will, I'm good for it. :salute:
Cheers
