RGH help

would i need anything extra, except solder etc?

Any help appreciated have flashed box my 360's a few times and good with sat boxes, but never tried a rgh before

i would be looking dual nand if possible

There is meant to be a new product on the horizon that will also do the Xenon's. If you want to DIY, wait a few weeks.

Thanks for the info il wait a few weeks (im in no rush). Would love a slim but no need for it tbh, have a console with LT+3 only want the rgh for map packs and xbla really

just got offered a slim for 60 and was wondering if theres any way to tell without opening how easy or hard it would be to rgh? or even just flash

RGH , the same on any slim more or less , maybe need extra hardware if it`s a corona , date on the console would give a good idea about what drive is in it.

Thanks will look into it, if I can dual nand it rgh and flash drive I'll get rid of current 360

Its 250bg 2012-08-05 is there a way I can tell what drive is in it so can get needes tools to flash and rgh

It`ll be a corona board without the post out and a 1532 drive , you will need the replacement pcb for the drive.

looked into it and see that im looking at a demon and nand-x for under 50 so will do that then flash dvd after christmas when i get a board

You will also need a glitch chip to go with the Demon , the slim proto is a good chip if you can get one or go with the CRPro with fake post out.

Oh though demon was a glitch chip, my bad lol I only know of cool runner tbh. What's fake post out?

If it is journey, have a read on TX forum for a thread called "RGH 'roadmap' for n00bies" by MartinC. That will explain process. Demon is another bit for you to look at.

If you are only interested in destination, then I'm sure that Dave24/Dilly1066/Oggy/ can do a postal service for you. Less fun but end result is more or less guaranteed.

Tbh id love to do myself, I like a challenge and seems very doable for me, however id also like the cheapest option, if I pay someone to do it I'll not need to buy the nand x pr similar that I wouldn't use again. To read dvd key for pcb id need it so thought if I was doig that I was half way to rgh so might as well finish lol if doing myself id need nand x or jr programmer, pcb replacement for drive (to flash), cool runner and demon, would that be all or am I missing something? I have a ck3 lite for flashing my phat

thanks, so im looking at 100 for supplies only :/ to do just the LT flash am i right in thinking all i need is the pcb board and a way to read nan like jr programmer?

You would still need a glitch chip as you need to boot into xell to get the dvd key and cpu key so you can extract the files for THE ltu2 pcb.

That's an awesome offer thanks, will see how much it will set me back (buying one or postage for urs both ways). Would a cool runner be fine for demon? Think I'll get a glitch chip, ltu and a way to read nand then go for demon at a later time

Won't have for 2 more weeks so will let u know lol one last thing, if I rgh it and a few monthsdown the line I decide to dual nand is that possible so I can use live?
