Driver-irql-not-less-or-equal (blue screen) Hitachi drive

mmmm having a bit of a problem guys

got a Hitachi drive to put back to stock firmware

but every time i click onto Restore to stock the pc hangs for a few seconds and then a i get the bluescreen and

Driver IRQL Not Less OR Equal

and one no how so fix that ???

im on windows 7 64bit and can do Sammy and Lite-on drives ok just having the problem with the Hitachi drive ..

and the Hitachi 31/40

I just checked on TX, similar if not exact issue as yours overcome by using on board sata

mmmmm still having probs my on board sata will not fined the drive

liteons, benQ's and sammys you remove the driver for the sata...... the hitachi you need to enable it.... don't forget a restart after enable/disabling the driver...
