How to get Minecraft

Hi all,

My kids are doing my head in they want minecraft for the xbox 360 but as the xbox has been modded i dont really want to go on xbox live to get the game is there any other way or is it ok to join xbox live to get it.

Dont really know how to mate someone else flashed the drive for me and i dont know what xdg360 is.

Actually, that's not right. My 360 was banned and I had modded FW on my drive.

my xbox it modded too but I found a copy of this minecraft game and added it to the xbox hdd but my boy is moaning about it being the old one. Can I get updates for it if I connect to the internet or will they tell me to bolt since by box in banned?

dude if ur not burning ur backups correctly and they havent been passed through agbx360 the chances are that ur console has recorded the miss matches etc and they get uploaded to live when u connect and the ban hammer will fall for simple things like multiple fails of ap25 checks etc or the wrong data replys from the disk, it may not be that day or not at all but its your best way to install the app without you having to mess around to much your self and your getting the latest version, with all the best interests at hart you will always run the added risk of a ban if your console is modded there is no guarantee.

so RGH and be done with live and then i can then pm u a link for mine craft and u can install it ur self .

but always remember no matter how carefull you are with ur backups and console you all ways run the risk of the ban hammer when conected to live....if you dont wont the ban then dont mod the drive/console

you wont be able to get updates from live with the console being banned you will just get a nice pop up telling you the console is not permitted on live etc, and if you put the HDD on another console you may get that one banned to for having apps on the HDD that they have not put on.

You could always RGH your console and download it via FSD dashboard mate

having it rgh, does that allow u to play it online or only offline?

you can play system link games online through the new LINK system in the FSD dash but use of the monkey shaft network and i would assume minecraft in online mode would be a no go.

Ive tried system link with black ops 2 but didnt suceed in entering a room. Bt i know its user fault nt system link. Need to read more more it

it's dead easy to use system link, start the game and then go to "system link" and then the rooms will appear, then go into a room (or create one on the web site) and then create a system link game and your pals and buddies will be then able to find you and join.

Works really well and voice is great.

I was going to put a small youtube tut together, might do later on tonight for ya mate.
