Drive not ejecting

Hi guys,

Ive a 360 elite which has been modded with ixtreme. The drive is playing up and wont always eject. What do I need to consider before replacing the drive? Thanks!

get the drive open with a little pressure on the drive belt you can see on the right just under the drive tray
also if you keep a disk in the machine it shouldnt jam again
the little belt starts to slip as the grease on the wheels dry out and the extra weight of the disks seems to help

hiya, try socking the rubber band bit hes on about in the video in a cup of boiling water, what normally happens is that band becomes abit loose and putting it in boiling water tightens it up again, ive done it loads of times, just leave it in the cup of boiling water for about a minute thats all, dry it off and put it back on, see if that helps mate, thanks

hi guys a simular thing has just happened to my boys old 360. the draw wont open at all and the center green light just keeps flashing like mad, ive used a pin in the manual override hole which pops the draw open but the eject button no longer works and it wont pick a game up if i close the draw. any ideas?

i bought a faulty xbox on friday and it wont eject. after i followed this guide. the drive ejects flawlessly.

this sounds like your drive was spoofed and has been updated.once you update your xbox extracts the firm and erases to stock if not genuine.usually a flashing green middle light means no dvd drive or no firm.
