Liteon flashing - post LT1.9?

Hi all

Ive been trying to flash a slim liteon and a phat liteon today - both are seen in JF and dosflash but i cant get them into vendor mode. I know the SPI is locked on the slim and im gonna have a bash at kamikaze but i cant get that far!!

I know there is some talk of incompatible chipsets so even though i have flashed many liteons with no probs i bought and installed a via 6421 pci sata card to increase my chances. But its just not playing!! As i say - the drives are seen no probs and just once i did get the slim to intro on slimkey but then dropped out of vendor mode after i had loaded firmware in firmtool. Should i just bite the bullet and get a USBPro and is that a guarantee to work or are there some problems with that and some drives too???

You have removed the drivers for the SATA card? "viaraid" i don't know your set up (i.e if your OS is on RAID so be careful)

Yes - done all the correct drivers stuff!! I just get the feeling that i might have to get a USBpro and be done with it!!

how have you got it connected to the PC, sata card and sata lead, have you got an xecutor connected via null modem cable as well to a comm port?

drive powered by 360 - and for comunication pci card - sata lead to drive - no comm port used?
