Apparently this means that the console is modded. But it seems to be affecting unmodified consoles aswell. Anyone else get this?

That's not the situation for me dude. Unopened Xbox, original drive. Never repaired. Still get the error. I was wondering if anyone had any similar experiences
The 1st post was asking for advice on how I should deal with Microsoft
The 2nd post was asking if anyone else has had the C000-0001 error.
Totally different subjects if you ask me.
I'm sure that if the mods think I've posted about the same thing twice, they will remove one of them

The problem with a lot of you guys with the banned but untouched console, is unless you bought it brand spanking new which in all cases would be slim model then you could be in for a bit of a troubled time. Reason being is that consoles are gut swapped and returned a lot, and also the warrenty stickers can be removed then replaced and look as if its not touches etc etc. It really depends on where you got it from I would go back to the retailer and state the console is faulty if its a brand new one under a year old.
Mine was from Tescos, brand new. Never been repaired either
Then take it back to them and state that you are unable to get online because the network hardware is faulty.
Its an old xbox. Tesco would tell me to bugger off
