Jtag fanspeed anyone help..?

Hi

My xbox360 is getting way to hot after flashing it with xbr and has started getting 3redligths is there anyway i can speed up the fan to keep it nice and cool.

I have tryed fanspeed patch.xex but evertime i load it in xexmenu i get e71error.

is there anyway i can edit the rawconfig file to speed up the fan its an xenon board..

Just run freestyle and in the settings you can alter the fan speed.

only downside to the freestyle one is it only kicks in once you load freestyle - so obv wont be taking effect if go straight from NXE to a disc or xbla or something.

What app did you download mate?

From xbins you had to download the older version in the "Old" folder....not the FanSpeedFlasher that is in the main folder, but the old folder should have something called fantools

In the zip of that you should have a bunch of files, like 44speed.xex, 70speed.xex etc.

In order to make fans run at 100% you had to patch the autospeed.xex file and run that.....which is what I did.

In fact anyway....

here are the files I used attached. The autospeed.xex has been patched for 100%

For 100% run the autospeed.xex from within xexmenu.

The screen should go black if I recall correectly, then after few secs boot you back to NXE.

Switch off the console then back on and should see the difference
