I was going to pretend I was intelligent and enjoyed watching foreign dramas but I can't be arsed. :)

I've got a film that's Spanish (REC, it's a horror) and I have the subtitle file in the same folder as the movie but my 360 doesn't appear to see the subtitle file, does anyone know if the 360 supports divx subtitles? I've Googled it but I ended up even more confused as some say it does and some say it doesn't.

i have tried it ion the past, but didn't work for me, the file was a .srt file i think

other option is to use media player classic, or VLC player and watch it on your PC

I really want to watch it on my 50" telly mate, I suppose I'll just dig out Ye Olde Xbox1 and watch it one XBMC :)

ive just grabbed this film myself, didn't realise it was Spanish, i will have to see if the subs file has come with it aswell.

if you have a laptop or pc close to your tv, then use a vga cable to output onto your TV

not ideal but should work well.

I used to do that mate (VGA straight into the back of the TV) but I've moved my PC to the other end of the house, so these days I wirelessly stream from my PC to the 360, I'll just dig out the original Xbox and use XBMC.

aye, good old XBMC, cant go wrong with it tbh.

I have mine on one side as a backup!

I keep removing it and letting he kids use it, but nothing comes close to XBMC, I might just leave it under the tv permenantly this time :)
