mucked up sammy drive help

fooked samsung ms 28 e 65 error HELP NEEDED
First may i state i will never help mates out again.
I have been having bother tryig to get key read all weekend with my comp not picking up drive but pesevered.
Somewhere along the line i have messed it up although i havent flashed it just trying to read it.
In samtool i read key with box powered up and got hacked and original bin key but this was when xbox was switched on all the way but i couldnt get it to read when tryng the 10 second deal.
Are these keys any good ,how can i restore and have i really messed it up ?
Wouldnt mind but i do this shit for nothing now i am pig sick.
Any help appreciated
forgot to add i can still read key as i did before when connected to pc but coming up error on xbox once re connected

i think u r best talking to highlander about those drives mate he is a wizard with those.

l had the same problem the other day with a mates one two . read fine . inserted his key into the fw and it didnt right . the 10 second thing didnt work on his l had to leave it on and in the dos command on the floppy write in MTKFLASH W /M XTREMEFW.BIN (or IEXTREMEFW if u r installing that one ).and it rite first time . u can right the org.bin back the same way

E65: DVD Drive Error.... DVD Timeout, Wrong firmware, dvd is without f/w chip, etc. This can also be caused by the tray not being fully closed on boot.

do you have the original working key from this drive, if so, just write it back using xtreme bot maker. dead easy to do.

wot sata chip(via) r u using . sure u have the right one but have read peeps think the m25 rights the same as the 28 and it dosnt

i think i have orig backup but it did fail on samtool but i certainly have 256 kb orig.

I firstly was using a 6421 card i bought specific for flashing my box it just didnt pick up on boot but no prob when i flashed my hitachi but that was through xecutor .
I then got my m8 pc which is set for flashing my sammy box(last time it was used) which kicked into sammy tool very quick
If this key is corrupt am i shafted as been reading all afternoon and it dont look good.
how can i check if i have decent key or doesnt it matter?

only one key will work on the console m8.

otherwise if wrong key is used, you will get that e65 error.

pity your up in scotland, cos if it was Manchester i would have glady flashed it for you.

but if you have that orig.bin, then you can write it back to drive to see if it still reads original discs, then try flashing it again.

or if you wish to pay postage, you can send console down to Manchester and i'l do it.

unless you know of someone/some shop/market etc... that will do it.

i think i got the key am trying to figure out bootmaker now .
i got it booting to c: dos saw directory but got stuck .
Is there a little tut on this ?

i swear by it, it has never let me down.

make sure youve spoofed the drive to show as the original revision fw,ie if its a ms25 spoof as a ms 25

oops, i forgot about that one too.

violentj helped me with this prob code e65 in the past, and this was my prob, i used ms28 on ms25.

i used i xtreme and managed to restore withj mtkflash then idump/flash.
i put it back then used quiet i xtreme .
where d o you change thensettings on this?

b.t.w if any one reading this in future my drive picked up 0.5 sec after selecting which drive and thats what mucked me up the most as i was waiting longer
