Technical problem with my 360 elite

Hi peps bought the 360 elite a couple of weeks ago and works great but Friday I tried to watch a DVD in it the picture was fine but no sound It was an original DVD and I'm connected to the TV with and HDMI cable does anybody else have or had this problem and know how the solve it please pass on the info as I'm at a dead end only one thing left to do is phone up ???

EDIT : O.K now sorted there HDMI cable was the fault.

is this a new disc?, one that worked before? (wondering if there is audio on the disc).

Also do your games work OK? (with sound)
