Noisy??!!

Ive just returned 2 360's to game because the noise from them when playing games was driving me CRAZZZYYY. When it was doing nothing it was just about OK but as soon as you play a game from DVD I couldnt stand it! Have I been unlucky or are all 360's noisier than a jumbo jet? Is there anything that can be done to quiet it down?

Thanks but its actually goodbye as there is no way I can live with it. As I said I returned the consoles. I have been doing some reading online though and found info on some BenQ drives that are supposed to be super silent. Any thoughts?

Yep they are silent....But there is no patched firmware for them.....
