Just downloaded wwe smackdown vs raw and FIFA 07. With one the drive speeds up as if its gonna read but then comes up disc unreadable and suggests cleaning it and the other doeasn't even do that. I upgraded my firmware to extreme 4.1 to see if it made a difference but no joy. Any ideas please?

I had the same problem mate.. used the first version of the extreme, then upgraded to the 4.1... Did the games on the old firmware play, but lock up half way through..?.. I changed my blank DVD`s and havn`t had a problem since.

Using verbs. I have only burnt four so far. Two work but these two dont for some reason. They don't read.

ok assuming you still have the images on your pc-use xbox backup creator and go to image tools and do a stealth check-just to make sure all files are patched in right

Thanks for comments guys. Violentj, I clicked on stealth check in backup creator and on both games it says video, pfi and dmi are all valid. Doesn't seem to report on ss though. How do I check that? When I clicked on ss option in backup creator it asked for iso which I gave it but then it asked for a bin file. What is that?

the bin file would be the ss.bin file-just out of interest what games are these and are they downloaded images

smackdown vs raw downloaded from newsgroups and fifa 07 downloaded from bit torrent site.

are they both ea games,it may well be worth upgrading to 4.2 or hanging on and trying 5.0 when its out

have upgraded to 4.2 today but it made no difference. Is it possible the ss is wrong in them although they have supposedly been tested?

id doubt it since i have the same games and they work perfectly the releases are fine-

Have you tried and burn the game at lower speed (2.4x)
