Hi guys,

I've recently got an Android TV. I understand I can install Kodi on it and I can install add-ons to get streaming. However, I wanted to know whatpitfalls to avoid. Should I always be using a VPN? Which is the best add-on to go for? Is there a risk with installing add-ons from unknown sources (such as some quoted on YouTube tutorials)?

I have seen the guide sticky post, but it doesn't go into this level of detail.

TIA

I don't use a vpn for Kodi yet. The main addons to install are Exodus, Phoenix, Specto Fork, Zen, Bob, UK Turk and Sportsdevil but there are many more. Kodi is good for movies, tv shows and some music but not so great for live sports.

I would say it's better to be using a vpn with kodi.
As with some add ons you are essentially filesharing.
