When using kodi through a vpn does it matter what country I pick as it's encrypted would it matter if it wa another uk server as the isp won't see it any way ?

If you're just wanting to obscure your activity that's ok
But
That's not going to unlock the kodi links that are geoblocked from UK users
So
If you're wanting to use the VPN service to unblock geoblocks you want to set your VPN to a country that doesn't geoblock

What about using other eu countries would this be better than say USA servers at they are closer

It is not so much to do with the country you use on a VPN.
It is more to do with your VPN supplier.
Most free VPNs will give you many many countries to select from. The problem i have is logging date.
If at anytime the VPN company is asked to reveal the original IP they will do that.

Use a VPN that does not log your data.
A good provider that offers that usually comes at a monthly/yearly fee.

If a VPN that gives you limited data and says it does not log are fooling you.
How can they not log data when there checking your data usage.

I used PIA for awhile and had no complaints with them.

There are a number of countries that a vpn offer. i am a regular kodi user and I use it via ivacy add on. Its working fine and data my ip is hidden for sure. You can understand how does a vpn work on kodi, search on google ivacy for kodi....

I'm having real problems with my kodi box . I use real debrid but my vpn hasn't got my vpn company on their whitelist and it doesn't work correctly . If I change DNS settings rather than Vpn will this stop the isp's blocking kodi like vpn ?
