just trying to install hotspot but will not go to next any ideas chaps ?

Just try rebooting to box or reinstall it?

I downloaded mine from APKpure in the browser not the play store.
 
did reboot joe could be the app have you a link to the one you downloaded
 
I've tried several vpn apps including hotspot shield on my android box, and none would work it's a little annoying. I assume its something wrong in the settings.
 
Works perfect on mine and on mobile phone
Which box/android version do you have?

In settings under security is Allow unknown sources ticked?
It should be but should not matter I dont think about this as you have it already installed o_O

It's called a cs968a. It a couple of years old now uses the rockchip 3188 and mali 400 and android 4.4.2. I'm going to get another box soon, but I am curious why this box dislikes vpn's so much.

With my box they always install just won't connect to the chosen country option, hotspot shield was different it came up with an android error message, but I can't remember what it was.
 
using an amazon box which i flashed hotspot using adbfire

so am i right in thinking this hotspot is only used for laptops ect ??

This video shows you how to install it from a usb on the amazon fire tv.
I am not sure if this will work with the firstick as I have read it needs to be rooted.
Also I have read this vpn will not work with Kodi. But will work for apps like bbc iplayer.

cheers avid tried that youtube vid using usb but finished up with the same as first post on this

Ive got it installed ok but after reading it wont work with kodi im gonna take it off

There are vpn addons within kodi but I don't know if there is any free one's.

What do you need a vpn for, Kodi or other apps like bbc iplayer.
 
Vpn for kodi as i use nowtv box for iplayer ( depending on what crap thats on )

i was going to watch the series boys from the black stuff on bbc but comes up this is
blocked by bbc so i thought this vpn would have sorted it ?
( prob totally wrong )
