so it seems this thread got deleted but I found a way of putting m3u files on the firestick I used mobilego and sent the file to that and then moved it to the sdcard so that it could be found in the file system

We allow the repos because they have FTA/FTV channels.

Even though DW don't host the streams, having the m3u lists for subscription channels needs Mick to sign off on.

I don't believe any channel is truly free to air as BBC requires viewers to have a licence to watch TV in the UK which makes all channels charged for, even if only the BBC gets the money

Sent from my Blade S6 using Tapatalk

They are not encyrpted, sky channels are.
Yes you need a tv licence to view them, but if you have one then the m3u files wont do any damage to the bbc.
By viewing restreamed sky channels with a licence or not you are infringing their copyright.
Thats is illegal.

you can also install ES File Explorer onto the fire stick and then transfer files to stick via PC lan/ftp

The contents of repositories/add-ons and m3u files are identical

The only difference between posting repositories/add-ons and m3u files is the zip file can be seen and downloaded by guests, whereas to download the add-ons you need to be a member.

I was going to ask if there was a way to hide the zip files from guests but didn’t get round to it.

That’s one of the reasons why I got rid of my avatar so I can make myself as inconspicuous as possible.

no real point in m3u as these links will work at best for a day
never used nor ever will more bother than worth
better methods here

Yet the popularity of the use of these m3u files is increasing by the minute

personally wouldnt post them
popular for the lazy
use the other methods available
not rocket science

I get what you are saying Ali but you must be aware that the whole point of the forum is to share knowledge and help one another.
I hate lazy arse fookers and freeloaders too by the way but as far as the'it's not rocket science' quote you made reminds me of who wants to be a millionaire in that it's easy but only if you know the answer !!
Most guys on this forum never made it to Oxford or Cambridge so never met Stevie Hawking and are here for a push in the right direction.

If you have the knowledge please share it mate

as already said its on forum

From what I see and read, in the evolution of this hobby (Sat/Cable/Streaming), the next phase is m3u.

That is if you want to keep one step in front of the powers that want to kill the hobby
