That’s the only one I’ve used mate, something is wrong somewhere.
There is another way to do it if you like but you might have to delete the wookie first and follow the instructions here:

when the wookie has downloaded and finished its important to click OK and find a way to close Kodi down properly, otherwise the wookie will not work.
So make sure you either find a way to close Kodi or turn your system off and back on
The way that I do it is with: Control alt delete / task manager / click on Kodi / end task

OK did that, just tried your alt method posted above, wookie currently "creating my custom view". I'll let you know how I get on.

OK just re-installed from scratch and downloaded the files again,its still the same basic confluence blue skin with bubbles but again fully loaded with everything that's meant to be there,it's no big deal mate I can grab a different skin myself,its a strange one right enough as they skins do look good,thanks for the files and help anyway bud.

I will install that way on a different laptop and see what happens bud.
Try changing skin to aeon nox mate
Finished updating then nothing,Kodi remains as was, also tried changing skin as above.

I now have this installed on a desktop PC / laptop /tablet and can confirm that on all 3 devices it has installed with the standard blue confluence skin and fully loaded,I have changed to the Aeon Nox as suggested but I don't like it lol @idrob are you using the free login details ? As I'm stumped as to how you have loaded it and have the hulk skin as standard.

Try looking in videos add on tab as that's where all my addons went,but kodi skin is unchanged.

I am using the free login details on the desktop, laptop and tablet.
on the T8 i am using my own login details but all the devises are the same with the same skins.
I don't know what the answer is mate, maybe someone else can try and see what happens.

Really strange mate,chris0200 might have the same as me but hasn't checked inside the video tab as it looks like a stañdard install until you find the addons.lol
