Hi,

What are we using now to stream the footy on Kodi I used to use Sports Devil and wiziwig but they no longer stream stuff.

Any suggestions please?

Thanks

NBC Sports Live extra with a VPN/DNS account

as above for me

try hotspotshied or okayfreedomvpn free editions

just a couple options

personally find as a free option cyberghost vpn to be one of the best

there are a few playlists that are ok, but you will have to search before your game starts ,
you have the robinhood plugin, AAAstreams plugin, Halow plugin, Vdub25 plugin, mikeyworldtv plugin, some of the links are hit and miss, but ive watched the man u games on TSN, see how you get on mate these are all free

I've loaded nbc, and then tried all the free vpn's mentioned above but none seem to work with my 968 android box. I'm currently got supervpn installed and this comes up with unexpected vpn error, the others seem to try and connect but freeze or get stuck trying to connect. Anybody got any ideas?

If you cant install on the Box itself or your getting errors then try installing the relevant data on your router, Then everything connected goes through the VPN

I was wondering if the fault is with the box, or a box setting, I'm sure it will work on the pc. I'm not using a separate router, I'm on virgin using the superhub.

If you can follow this tut to setup a VPN connection using androids built in option,I can give you temporary log in details to my VPN just to check and see how it works

Integrated VPN Support

Android has integrated support for PPTP and L2TP VPNs. You can connect to these types of VPNs without installing any third-party apps.
To connect to a compatible VPN, open the Settings app and tap More under Wireless & networks. (On Android 2.3, tap Wireless & networks.)

Tap the VPN option on the Wireless & networks screen. (On Android 2.3, tap VPN Settings.)

Tap the + button and provide the VPN’s details. Enter a name to help you remember which VPN is which into the Name field, select the type of VPN server you’re connecting to, and enter the VPN server’s address (either an address like vpn.example.com or a numerical IP address).

Tap the VPN to connect once you have set it up. You can have multiple VPN servers configured and switch between them from the VPN screen.
You will need the username and password your VPN requires when you connect. However, you can save this account information for next time.

While connected to a VPN, you will see a persistent “VPN activated” notification in your notifications drawer. To disconnect, tap the notification and tap Disconnect.

Do you have a hosted solution with a VPN server set up mate? I was thinking of doing the same as you look at the prices of a VPN service and you can get a cheap hosted service for this. Split it between a few mates and its even cheaper :)

No m8 I just use a normal VPN company but they allow you to use PPTP,as well as windows and linux software, which I find is better on my android box,
plus they also seem to allow multiple log ins from several devices,in different areas,

although thats not in their terms ;)

Does anyone have any issues with the buffering its relentless. Ive just paid for cyberghost paid (only £6 for a year so not that bad) but what ever I watch it just freezes and buffers continuously??

fine here

change from hd to sd see if that helps

I've been watching the cycling all afternoon with no buffering using this service;https://www.smartdnsproxy.com/?afid=1b3633477256

I've just tried the footy using my cyber ghost account, and as you say , it is unwatchable.

The benefit of a smart dns service is that only the first connection is made with their servers, after that it switches back to your internet so you get full speed, VPN's encrypt everything so it's going to be slower.

A DNS will always be faster than a VPN

cyberghost works fine here

so suggest look at your setup
