Hi, I work from home and would like to separate my work and home networks. I am looking for a VDSL2 router that can setup a vlan for my work computers and printers and another for my home media center and android tablet.

Any advice is welcome.

Sorry, I meant to add that I also need to have a LAN to LAN VPN from my work network to my office. I am currently using a draytek 2860 which works OK but doesn't seperate the VLANs properly.

Shouldn't it be just a case of allocating your DHCP table to wherever you want devices to go?
Then set up your VPN?

Hi, I'm with Talktalk Business on their 80/20mbps fibre connection.

IP addresses are being assigned correctly on the two vlans, but I am still able to access my work network from my home network via both ethernet and wifi. The router itself also seems a bit glitchy as it freezes up and I have to reset it every 3 - 4 days.

It seems that on the 2860 the VLAN trunk port allows the different subnets to talk to each other. I'm looking to see if there is a newer firmware that would solve this issue.

You might want to try an OpenWrt router plus a VDSL Modem. this will be the most cheap and elegant way to solute your problem.
