Hi all,

I hope someone can help me.

I have a wired/ wireless network coving my house - its set up like this:

I have a talk talk router (Wireless disabled, only used as a modem) this has a cat6 cable which links it to a Cisco router which has a few devices connected to it (Skybox, Hive hub etc) and also a cat6 cable which runs up through my house to another Cisco router in my attic room.
Collectively they form one wireless network which covers my whole house.

Recently I've started having the problem with drop outs with the internet on my network and when i do ping tests i can see where it just drops out or takes a long time for a response.

I'm really getting to my wits end with it - can anyone suggest what they think might be wrong with it and anything i can do to sort it out?

Thanks.

You dont need two routers mate, if you the one in the attic is not set to AP mode try that. Would help knowing the model numbers of the cisco routers your using.

Honestly best solution in my opinion is some Ubiquiti Networks - UniFi(R) AP

Also are you sure you mean packet drops and not connection drops?
