Hi All

I have NEVER been able to do this for some reason, all the LKETC miners have raspberry pi boards and Antminers Beaglebone boards.

ALL have static ip addresses, eg

IP Address - 192.168.1.99
Subnetmask - 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway - 192.168.1.1
DNS Server - 8.8.8.8

I have 15 running and i'm afraid i will lose connection when i enable the new Virgin router!!!

How do i connect direct to them from my laptop to each miner via an Ethernet lead ??

I thought it would be just be as usual connect lead from laptop to miber and type the ip address in....lol

The reason being i have been sent a new Virgin Router V3 and i think the default gateway will be 192.168.0.1

I old Virgin router (192.168.0.1) was RUBBISH with wifi, virtually could not detect it so i switched it to modem mode and plugged in my old Linksys WRT54G wireless router to get a better signal.

Are you wanting to change all their static ipaddresses to match your new router?

Is your old linksys still in use?
If so plug your laptop into the router and give yourself one of the ipaddresses
192.168.1.98??? (if this is the range you have allowed)
subnet mask and gateway as the others.
Then see if you can ping it.

Or plug the lead into miner and laptop reboot with network settings with autodetect. This may allocate you an address you need.

(I don't have anything similar so purely guessing what may connect you.)
