its not the best for range never has been in the house there is 2 dead spots and was only think about putting it in modem mode, that way virgin wont set it up on that new free wifi, But theproblem is finding a router with good speed and range only playing with the idea at the moment.

Have you ever had a WiFi work in these deadspots?

The range on any WiFi is only a guide and they don't like good old fashioned brick walls.

when Virgin Media gave you the old 20md modem and netgear wifi router everything was great, but since I have had the superhub speed is excellent but its not as solid as old type superhub need to be rebooted a lot as android devices seem to lose connect a lot, laptops are fine.

I have spoken to virgin and get the normal rubbish they don't support 3rd party devices bla bla bla all they say is change the channel number.

The channel can make a difference to it dropping out (more so on some routers than others) as some routers don't get on too well with other WiFi's in area.

All the channels actually overlap others.

If you can get WiFi Overview 360 on your phone as I use that to see what channels are mostly used.

You got the 1st superhub martin or the new one,im using the 1st and its shite until i put it in modem mode and purchased a tp-link router and now alls well, couldnt even get any signal upstairs when the superhub was installed really bad

I use the Asus RT-N56U with the superhub in modem mode and it is spot on
The specs on that is very impressive.

Does it cook the breakfast as well :)

My wife's running could not be described as super.

Anyway been a bid Linksys fan since forever and run them with my superhub in modem mode with my Duo2 and various other boxes with no issues.
