So i decided to upgrade my virgin 20mb service to the 50mb service as its only an extra fiver a month why not ? guy came installed my new router/hub "superhub" speeds are great on my main desktop pc dload a 8gb mkv in 20 mins :proud:.But once trying my wireless devices my netbook which has wireless n i was getting really slow speeds i use to get 150mbps on my previous netgear cable router connected to the old virgin modem now im only getting 54mbps.So i adjusts the freq setting from 2.4ghz to 5ghz and my netbook wont even see my wireless superhub now :Angryfire but it still see`s my neighbours routers whats happening :grrrr::grrrr:

mine is actually working ok now... i use the superhub for wired things such as xbox and home plugs upstairs.. i then connect my old dd-wrt linksys router to it and set it to N only (the router) i get the full 30mb everywhere in house thats N capable, the mrs phone and ipod only connect on G though so these use the superbhub wifi and it all works fine...

xbox live works fine for me as thats wired into the superbhub downstairs and the home plug is connected to the xbox upstairs :) never had any issues. although day 1 was a nightmare trying all sorts of different setups..

turn off ip flood detection under services.
turn off auto channel and choose your own under wireless settings

got mine working ok now too.

Just had a lengthy call to virginmedias outbound call cantre :Angryfire explained to them when my superhub is enabled into 5ghz mode "wireless n" my netbook is unable to see my hub it works fine whilts in the 2.4ghz mode but im only getting a connection speed of 54-72mbps on my old router is was pretty steady at 150mbps the lady in customer services was asking me to run speedtest etc lol.Ffs i was saying to her theres no problem with my broadband speeds or upload speeds its the actual speed transfer between my netbook and the router which is the issue she was bewildered i was promised a call back im still waiting i think ill try connecting my old netgear router up n try that route next

I had to reconnect my dlink router on the first day. I realised almost immediately that LAN performance on the Superduds is poor

Can you not turn off wireless mode altogether and then cascade your old router ?
