I would appreciate if someone could give me some assitance.

I have got a belkin wireless G plus NIMO Router, my laptop internet works fine, only problems is when i try to connect something else to the router eg PSP, Nintendo WII, it does'nt let the console connect.

Yesterday, I managed to get on the Internet with my PSP using one of my neighbours Unsecured belkin router? But when i try connecting the PSP to my Belkin Router, it cannot find the IP Address!!

Do I have to change something on my router settings in order to be able to connect consoles?? WEP?WPA kEY etc (If so how do you do this)

By the way I have not secured my router(don't know how to) like one of my neighbours mine is always showing unsecured.

I would really appreciate is some one could guide me on this.

Thanks in advance.

You can secure it by going into the configuration page of the router. For Belkin it is.

192.168.2.1

You will find a whole list of options on the left side. You want to set it to WPA/PSK or WPA2. This will mean that anyone who tries to get access will need to know the passphrase you entered, the lappy will be asked the next time you go on the net but once you enter passphrase once it wont ask again unless you change it.

Not sure about your psp though...I can connect mine with WPA on.
