Been to Rat's, have rash to prove it ;)
Ok doing my first on EVER....

Got me seagate drive and am downloading some games.

I've run the modmii wizard thingy and have tried to follow the guide as best I can, being thick.

The system is rebooted and I have the home brew channel and the usb loader showing on there now.

As I'm waiting for a game to download and try the usb I dont actually know if I have doen it right or if it works, lol.

When games are put on the drive should they be in their own wee folders ?

Hopefully I've done this right.

Advice please ;)

Cheers

Are you adding them with Wbfs Manager??
I add them directly on that in iso form.
Using usb gx loader but they are very simular.

Andy.

what usbloader are you using ?

the cfg usb loader needs the cfgusbloader files copied to the harddrive and if the hdd is fat32 or ntfs you need a folder called wbfs to put the game files in

I used that Modmii thing to collect all required files and do the softmod.

And I've used WBSF to put games onto drive. To use this the drive has to be formatted to a WBSF drive which windows can no longer read.

I've tried selecting the usb loader from the channel list without the drive plugged in and it does exactly the same.....

Do I also need to add cfgusbloader file on there as well then ?

Reformatted drive back to NTFS and am using a different program (Wii Backup manager) to transfer them as it keeps the drive in this format.

Ok Installed the USB thingy ma bob from here And it works through home brew.

Now to get the thing on the front page and with covers might be nice.

Also of the games I've downloaded 2 dont seem to work, black ops and mario all stars ?

Install this wad to fix black ops!!

for whatever usb loader u put on, you'll need the channel forwarder .wad to install - that will allow u to run it without going into the homebrew screen.
