vu solo2se

hi all, new to here but have an issue with my vu solo2se and need to reflash it, what image do i need to flash it with as i am confused with which image i should download...

Is your solo2 original or a clone ? If it is a clone what make of clone is it ?

its a vu solo2se with blackhole image on it. yes its a clone. it keeps restarting when i go onto certain channels so i presume i need to reflash it. just dont know which image to download to reflash it mate

What clone it is lorinson, Sunray or Meelo ?

Id a feeling that was coming !

Do you have a port on the rear called a service port if not take a high res picture of the mobo and upload it for us to look at.

Another clue for us would be where you downloaded the image from that it has on now.

there is a sticker that was on it when i bouight it saying to go to vu-hd for any downloads.. that any help?

Yeah you have a Lorinson clone then. Now discover what version you have can be tedious.

Flash a V4 image if it boots then you have a v4 box if it doesn't, dont worry just flash a v3 Image then a v2 till you get one that boots and thats your version.

Or just go to the VU-HD site and download their older versions and flash them.

If its not Labelled for Lorinson clone you carnt use it you will brick your box.

downloaded an openvix image from the vu-hd website and flash box and i did a channel scan and then when i had set up autoboutiques and started scan i got an error saying : time out for tuner log. what could be the issue? i have the 2 sat cables connected correctly

Menu-Setup-service searching-tuner config

ok perfect will do that later so, just make sure both are set to 28.2e? then do scan and then set up autoboutiques?

Do make sure both tuners as you have 2 feeds are setup

yes it did that but when i went to set upabm and did a scan i got the time out for tuner log error
