vu solo 2 running black hole 2.1.5 no channels clearing not even free to air

Hi Peepz
My box has just stopped working? No channels clearing just getting the blue black hole screen. It lets me change channels go into menu everything as normal but no channels clearing what could be the problem?

Can you download/install any plugins?

Not at home at the moment but i dont think as as time was incorrect but when i change it to london gmt it didnt change?

If no channels clear it may be possible the tuner configuration has change check this and also on the sat finder check what signal if any you are getting.

It could be just the image has become corrupt because as you say your having issues setting some features. If this is the case you will need to reflash.

If your using a clone make sure you use the correct image for it.

Thanks ferret. Think it is corrupt image. Gen box. Gonna flash with the new blackhole 0.1 image let u guys know how i get on later. Might some help installing things been a while

Yeah no worried mate get the image on and we can go from there step by step if need be.

If you need the tspanel just for loading cam it would of been easier and would of saved space just installing the individual cams.

ok download tspanel 10.8 from vu community but get error when I try to add with vu control IPK installer get error: satisfy dependencies cannot satify the following dependancies for enigma python pycrypto vusolo2 /var/volatile/tmp#

The tspanel is crap mate do you not know how to install manually via telnet via DCC or putty ?

Download this

Unrar one level and youll have a tar.gz file

FTP that file to the tmp folder

Then press green then yellow then maual install and bh packages

Highlight and press the ok button to install.

There is no need for a telnet install for emus.

The softcam for blackhole can be downloaded from here.

Then choose the softcam you require (ie mgcamd 1.38) and ftp it (filezilla I use) to the "/tmp" folder of your box.
Then from a telnet session, type the following:-


Then FTP the files in the attached rar file to "/usr/keys"

Using a linux compatible text editor (I use Notepad++ for windows) add your line to newcamd.list. You need to add your line to end of line beginning "CWS = " (removing the "N:" from your line if need be).

Now having done that, restart your box and softcam should be installed so just go through menus to enable softcam (if needed). I don't use BH so not sure how about softcam settings).

UPDATE: By time I typed this @Ferret beat me to it

you guys are good, installed ferret file MGcamd1.38c and installs input line and activated cam, it's only showing mgcamd 1.38c? is this the best most stable one?
now I need to add Lraizer's channel list with sly numbering and EPG and cross EPG downloader and finally mount the hard drive. please advise how and where to install

Press the blue button twice and there should be a device manager.

Mount your hard drive there to media/hdd

Then under menu setup recording paths youll need to setup your recording path to

media/hdd/movie

Cross epg will i think need to be installed

Press green then yellow and scroll through the downloads for cross epg

Then

Crossepg would be best used on an mounted usb stick but the Zgemma has enough flash to cope with the epg download if you have no usb.

You need to start Cross epg for Menu-Setup-Crossepg

First youll need to set up the plugin

Select yes to all options
Enter the location to save the epg to
Enter a time for the scheduled download.

Exit then scroll to OpenTV Providers
Select Sky UK and Exit
Now choose download now and wait for the screen prompts to finish.

You should now have a 5-7 day epg.

Is it the AB 28.2 manual install 20151007 - when you open it in WinRAR it has a folder autobouquets, then it has lot of files in it e.g custom sort 1, 2 , 3, custom swap, autobouquets reader,

Plus currently all channels showing BH team Picon, how do I get the latest channels picon and istall them. I getting there slowly, ;-)

If you have transferred and then installed the ipk, why are you looking at the manual install files? If you install the ipk, those files will be installed.

1. Please confirm that the plugin is installed and working.
2. Please confirm version date of plugin. The blue button on the plugin will show you version date.

4. What is tuner A confugured as?
5. Can tuner A receive a signal on following transponder: 11778, vertical, 27500

6. What is connected to tuner B
7. What is tuner B configured as?
8. Can tuner B reeceive a signal on following transponder: 11778, vertical, 27500

With regards to CrossEPG, if you're using open BH as your image then it's likely you need to install the following package to get CrossEPG to fully work as Open BH is based on PLi and PLi also needs this package installed:-

Also, if you're just using sky 28.2 as your satellite then you should just be using OpenTV as EPG source and not xmltv.

Thanks guys back home later this afternoon so will do what abu has advised and add the code from ketmp and remove xmltv and add opentv. I will post my finding
