I noticed on aliexpress a seller advertising Sunray Solo2 which can accept original images and support online updates.

Some of the claims it mentions:-
Note: support all original software, also the online software updating

if you update a software with a virus, please take out this module(like below pictrue), then update our software, then the receiver is ok back.

Now I'm not sure if this is actually a Sunray clone although it does look like it because it has a fan on CPU and a mini USB service port, or if it's a clone of a sunray clone or blatant false claim that's its a sunray clone.

Sunray support team (Sim2 team) were not aware of such a box (and it's claims) as of about a month ago but, of course, that doesn't mean it isn't an actual Sunray clone.

I like the idea , that you can just remove that board re flash & put board back if you flash the wrong image. Only trouble is there is little or no feedback on it. Think I will see how this improves before buying, you would think this would be very popular if its claims are accurate.

I've asked the seller if software exists for this and where I can get it to see if it lives up it's claims.

I thought it used any sunray image & if you flashed an image with timebomb or other problems , you remove board & flash a known good image then plug board back in.

I meant software to help flash if I managed to brick it.

To date, not had a reply to my question which then raises concerns as to whether their claim is true.

I will post here if I (ever) get a reply.
