Guys,
Is there any trick needed during connection to tc58nvg1s3eta00 ?
I am always getting "The starting offset is in bad block...." error

Bad block mean the flash is corrupt, sadly this can not be corrected via jtag youll need to replace the chip.

I have changed to 512Myte flash, resulting I have this:

....dmesg log.........
NAND device: Manufacturer ID: 0xec, Chip ID: 0xdc (Samsung NAND 512MiB 3,3V 8-bit)
brcmnand brcmnand.0: 512MiB total, 128KiB blocks, 2KiB pages, 16B OOB, 8-bit, Hamming ECC
.........

root@vusolo2:~# df -h
Filesystem Size Used Available Use% Mounted on
ubi0:rootfs 423.6M 75.7M 347.8M 18% /
devtmpfs 2.0M 88.0K 1.9M 4% /dev
tmpfs 279.3M 264.0K 279.0M 0% /var/volatile
udev 2.0M 88.0K 1.9M 4% /dev
tmpfs 279.3M 0 279.3M 0% /dev/shm

....

Thanks Ferret for the suggestion.

What was the chip ID you ended up using ?
