SOLO 2 UPDATE (Ver:3)! SAVE UR BOX FROM ATTACK

I have received an update for solo2 . as I have received in my mail box I m going to post here as its
My box already working fine with all images new or updated online . So I dont need to install this file But the peoples who are facing problem I m sharing the file here with procedure as my friend has mailed me .Personally Special thanks to my friend Selina Wong

wish u will be fine . sorry to reply u late . here is the file if u have threat of attack for ur boxes but i told u dont need to use this ,if ur boxes are already working well but u r afraid from attack so i advise u to use this file through data cable procedure is as under :
1. remove all cables from stb just plug power cable
2. update this file pics are with file for ur help
3. its modified file u must use it as its said in pics
4. restart box
5. use new image and factory default must one time

@Dj old file size was 116.01 Kb and this file is 117.56 Kb. its confirmed its modified because both's modified date is diffrent . I m just waiting to know if any one can extract and tell me what is modified in it . which thing they have found and how they have fixed . just for my knowledge .

I think I may be baffled. What exactly does this do? Is it a fix for the dead Solo2 Clones?

im too wondering what this does. Does it protect your receiver from bricking or does it fix bricked receivers

No the dead/bricked clones cant be cured by RS232 support,this is a protection against future attacks made by VU so ure box woldnt bricked again

Not dead just for working Solo2 clones to keep them safe from attack

So that's means that If I update solo2 with this fix, I can use oryginal image like VTI 6.0.8 etc - Am I right ?

The 808.bin file is different to the file that we used before but without either a debugger or dis-assembler all you can really see is that they are different.
@Ali I assume that you've installed it onto your box, previously they mentioned that the remote stopped working or functioning properly, have you had the chance to fully test your box to make sure it's working as expected?

Thanks. How does it do this? I mean to what extent? - because as we all know, we thought V2 had it sorted, but in fact it didnt.

So will it take original images?

i dont care what it does. IM installing an image that works and never updating it again.

The v2 firmware update just got newer images working, I don't think it claimed anything more as at that time nobody knew about this attack until it actually happened.

In addition to what IAmATeaLeaf has said, I'd like to add that I don't think anything can be done to guarantee beyond a doubt another clone bomb. They can only do their best to minimise another clone bomb happening. Even clone safe providers like Ferrari can't guarantee beyond a doubt they are immune to clone bomb.

Yep, gotta agree, you can't guard against the unknown.

We think so, who is going to be the first to test this.

The previous v2 would allow original images but had the side effect of bricking the box

Hint if it works: Once you do this procedure and put an original image on and then boot your box up, if it works then this is a great fix. If it doesnt boot up, then it doesnt work. Basically original images brick the box straight away, if your on V1 or V2.

Did you then try to flash original image?
At what point did it say start download?
