Hi all,
having mayor issues with my Solo2.

Problem: Looses picture sometimes, perhaps every 5 minute. Then wait for 5-10 seconds and picture comes back. I do not have to restart the cam/box, it drops the newcamd connection and then gets it back again.

Tried OpenATV, VIX, BH etc. with CCcam2.01-->2.3.0 and MGcamd 1.35a. Reflashed every time. Yes, B is 06

Log shows:
first read failed -1
Connection error

I have tried without router, got fibre direct connection. So to troubleshoot further, tried using different connections at different locations did not make any difference.

===On my old Azbox/DM500 everything works great===

Can it be that I used the wrong CAM all the time?? Are there any specific that is made specifically for the Solo2??

I believe there are specific cams that work better for for different images.yet i am not sure it makes a great deal of difference as i have used any Ccam 2.3.0/2.2.1 with no problems
I am on solo2 with vix 808 ccam 2.3.0 I used the viix Ccams from openvix download page along with the image.
no problems.

When you're solo 2 is connected to your router try running a continuous ping to your solo 2 IP address from a PC or laptop on your network. Watch out for any dropped packets or latency. Could be a faulty network interface on your vu solo. Also try continuous ping to your line provider if your using cs to check for latency or packet drops this could signify ISP or cs provider issues if you see packet drops or latency. Does your azbox and dm500 use the same line provider ??
