EVERY Enigma2 based receiver has some bugs or glitches, its in the nature of the beast, as well as the 'sloppy' coding that holds it all together. Enigma2 has evolved from many different 'ported' versions of code, so, its inevitable that somewhere, something will clash. The decision to be made, is the compromise between KNOWN bugs, price, and the possibly unknown issues that may be faced.
The TM range of receivers AND the Vu range, have their own bugs, the newer xxx2 range, have more known, but not as commonly publicised (as this would affect sales) bugs.
the Solo2, costing around £320, is only able to use one of its dual cores, the high speed dual core processor is one of its main selling points, but, to date, is not fully available to use, there was also postings about recording issues and memory leak problems, admittedly, ive not personally been able to fully follow the progress of these bugs for a while due to being removed from some places, but while viewing as a guest via a proxy, it still seems that this is in fact the case
the TM range of receivers (with the 2T being ~£100 less than the solo2) has as much flash, but a slower processor, but, is able to use both available cores, there is some random issues with recording, which people have trouble replicating to try and fix, some people have issues with some images, some with all images, some no issues at all
its down to the end user to weigh up how much they want to spend, compared to the known, and disclosed issues that each receivers has, and EVERY receiver has some
