hi guys can anyone link me a good updated image for the mentioned box please? i have one on PLi at the moment, too out of date though!

i dont use this box alot so dont really no alot about them!
 
A lot of it is down to personal preference, some people prefer open PLI like you have and others like me prefer blackhole - there isnt any 'best'

Blackhole i believe gives you more options than openpli though. Give it a try and just stick with which ever you end up preferring
 
ok il give it a go tomoro. the pli one has got sluggish of late. is there a vix image for these boxes? i use it on my other ones

No, i had a go with a VIX image last night, i flash, and after the green flashing light, took out USB, powered off then on, solid green light but just black screen, let it sit while away and 3 hours later still nothing. anyone advise or share an image to try?

No, i had a go with a VIX image last night, i flash, and after the green flashing light, took out USB, powered off then on, solid green light but just black screen, let it sit while away and 3 hours later still nothing. anyone advise or share an image to try?

Sound like a clone issue ? Do you know if it is a clone or not and if it is a clone what version ?

Try a V2 image with older drivers see how it goes.
 
Could be a clone..i did notice it says Made In Korea on the back. As i said before, the box is never used i got it gave to me from a mate who got a Duo box. Was just bored so had a fiddle with it. As for versions etc im not sure about that. Now that i think about it i did see some information that read dm800se somewhere in the menu?

PS there are no (version) stickers on it anywhere. The 2 stickers arw the Bn number and one thats says warranty void if seal is broken.

Guys i just phoned my mate, he says before PLI was put on, there was a ferrari plugins option or something within the menus. so i take it im after v2 clone images?

Solo and 800se are 2 very different boxes mate.

Real solos are made in Korea but it would also say that if it was from China and a clone.

Can you take a picture of the Motherboard and upload it we can then suss what it is and what version.
 
i can do that after work yeah. When i go to menu and information, there is a line in there with dm800se on it, i will try send a pic of that now as i took it before the flash last nite.
 
i dont know if any of this will help but thougjt id share anyway until i open up.

will take a look now what are the signs of a clone from the images?inside the lid is black an everything lol

Its a clone it just identifying the version the chip will tell me that if it has one.

Your going to need to use Ferrari V2 images then if its a Lorison board.

There are some in the download section.
