I have a TM5402 HD working on Intelsat 907 11495 V 44100 9/10 ;-)

Is it possible to get the VU+ range working? I seem to think I have read something about OpenPLI image 4.0?

Total newbie with concerns the VU+ boxes so any advice and help appreciated.

Hi mate If you are asking will any VU+ boxes work on Intelsat 907 11495 V 44100 9/10
as long as your dish is aligned correct then yes VU+ receivers like any Linux box will all do the same job as long as the set up is correct.

so in short if your TM does it so will VU+ and in theory any image as long as you have the box set up correct tuners and channel list etc. installed.
I have just checked tuner set up in VIX and your Intelsat 907 is a option.

i had a VU+ solo clone running blackhole and mgcamd/oscamymod opening them but that was a good while back and they have changed something in the stream since then so i cant say now.. its working on openpli with a certain script running but i have looked into it yet, regards mdt

I know this thread is from 2014 but I would like to know if there has been any updates as I am interested in using a VU Zero. Has anyone managed to get Intelsat 907 27.5w along with say 28.2e working on the box?
as this would use mgcamd as well as oscamymod I believe.
Also using the open vix image or would another work better.

Hi, Yes I have a VU Zero working with 27.5W and 28.2E using CCcam. Obviously most Sky channels are down with C/S though.
I also have 19.2E on it with cccam working well.
It also has full 7 day EPG for both satellites and subtitles if required.
Very very good box.

Hi dantis thanks for the reply.
Ye I know about the 28.2e. I have just set up a tm5402 for a mate on 28.2, 27.5w and 19.2e. via a 4 way disecq and it works great. But now he wants the iptv that I have, he's just bought a Zero on my say so and I'm trying to get it working on all his sats as well as iptv. I have it working on 19.2 and 28.5 but can't get it working on 27.5on this is on the Zero box.
I'm using Mgcand for 29.2 and 28.2 as I think this is better and more stable and it's faster than Ccamd, but if yours is stable on what you are using then great. On 19.2 there a quite a few english channels that we lost so it's worth having a look at that, my mate is using 3 dishes because he had a spare.
On mine I have just got 28.2 and 27.5 atm along with this iptv but I'm looking at other stuff too.
I don't suppose you could backup your settings with image backup and let me try it on my mates box, would you?

Sorry didn't see this,
I believe you go into menu on remote then in there somewhere ther is a backup, it might say Backup image or backup sytem settings or something like that. what Image is on you Zero?
I suspect it will be Open vix?

If this is viewable never done this before, have a look at page 65 onwards. On your should be the same but it might say
image backup as well as another name for instrance sk channels or something like that.
