Anyone got the Chinese VU Solo Mini I cloud?

Seen this box and thought it looks decent for price. Anyone got any feedback on it cheers

Those are not connected to VU boxes in any way mate

If you noticed there advertised as having the same function as a solo but are not even a solo clone.

No idea if there good or bad but felt you should know the above.

Its a clone of the solo clone I believe. Seems a fine box but over heating isues last time I read

i have the one with fan built in, but still got hot so installed a bigger fan now very cool and its silent also removed the card reader , i have been running openpli 3.0 with picons , epg , plugins, no usb or hard drive, running for over 2 weeks no issues

Does IPTV work on it and is openpli better to run the vix 3.0?

i been using openpli 3.0 just last few updates not working now, maybe update will get it to take latest updates again, but i have had openpli 3.0 running for a month with picons , epg , plugins and had no issues, as its enigma 2 yes IPTV will work

What IPTV plug ins do you use if any and do you need to install anything else for them to be viewed?

i dont use any IPTV plugins sorry, as you asked if they will work which they will as its basically a vu solo , so its enigma 2

Thinking of buying one of thse too. I am anewbie so need to read up on all of this stuff 3pli, etc what can it do. Is it sutable for web applications such as surfing or emailing? Thanks Shadow007

Well if you do read up on it all you will no doubt come to the conclusion that its not worth a Beeping Beep Beep as its a piece of beeping Beep.
Look into Dm800se clones always served me well..but in my experience stay away from VU+ clones or I cloud..get a genuine VU+ and have a happy stress free life.

Everyones experience is different, my clones running well a year on but some people would say I was lucky as most aren't like that, I recommend getting a genuine one though I u can afford it

Thanks for the info. I was also looking at the Amiko Alien 8900 with its web applications and browser facility. Welcome your opinioon on this at £99 and its suitability for all this open source stuff. Btw could you direct me to a thread where I can read up on all of this before I invest. I have a Humax 5400 background these past years using keybins so this stuff is megabytes ahaed of the old technology. Many thanks once again. Shadow007

Look into the nbox 5800sx, its an original, I've put a setup guide on here. The box its less than 130 delivered and has a built in hard drive and twin tuner
