Ultimo Image update

Hi all.

There is now a online update for New VIX Image Vu+ Ultimo Version 2.4 15/05/2012 :banana:

I just upgraded my image with the online update and all working well so far.

I made backup of image before I went ahead!

I beleive it is there ready to download via online update in duo aswell, But i have not tried on that box so give it a go dude.

Just tried and nothing to upgrade yet, I would imagine it would need to be a fresh flash.

They were originally posted here but removed by the staff as they were considered as advertising another forum ( which is why i wont bother uploading them again ). The image has already been updated from the initial launch version 2.4-96 to 2.4-101 and were testing more updates now.

If you had actually bothered to read the threads rather than panicking and deleting them you would have seen that i stated I was at the time on a limited connection without enough bandwidth to upload them to the forum ( i was as i am now on a web n walk mobile dongle ), for me to have uploaded those images here would have taken several hours. but your forum your rules, and as i said in the pm i wont bother any more you can upload them your self if thats what you want to do.

like your forum you do not allow links the same as most forums, so we are no different, follow the rule and all is well

101 is days old.
They are on 111 at the moment

Not available using online update so guessing its a beta version?

112 is available now.

It was available since before you made that post, but it was set as a unstable image due to the number of updates and relative low amount of testing done. if you want to use these unstable builds you have to select that option in the image, although saying that even though labelled as unstable it does not mean it is unstable we are just airing on the side of caution.

Just to clarify on this even though we are releasing images in the so called unstable state we are not releasing every build we make, we still exorcise a form of quality control and will not release a image without any testing what so ever, also there can and frequently are 5 or 6 image builds a day as we work through and fix reported bugs. often times andy fixes bugs and builds a new image with that fix without even releasing it to us beta testers. This could change in the future with the including of a nightly build program as Pli currently have but thats something we will look into at a later date.
