Currently running a duo 2 in the loung with 2 sat And 2 vermin feeds and a giga blue quad plus in the back room with the same feeds, the good lady isn't a fan of the gigablue remote and prefers the vu one, is it worth replacing the giga with a 4K or am I wasting my money ?

Ive got one and dont have a 4k tv. Fast processor, full kodi and it allows 4k to be watched at 1080p.

50/50 here as i purchased mine before i got a 4K TV, so if you dont have or plan to get a 4K tv for a while then stick with something cheaper. Since i got my 4K TV the demos and channels available are Fantastic picture quality is superb something which you cannot see on a 1080p screen.

But as most have said with limited availability of channels at the moment its probably not worth the money

What stopped me was before the UK gets true 4k i feel the receivers will have moved on.

I dont see 4k ever running via CS for the uk market and 4k legit sub cards wont at present run in it.

Im still struggling with the whats the point way of thinking.

Because there shinney and black and new and you know you want one :) also you can fit it in our signiture below as there is already a line of space waiting to be filled :p

Think I am gonna replace the giga, but the thing is I love my duo 2 and think it's better than the gigablue, part of me thinks I should just get another duo 2 but then the 4K is very similar in price. I'd happily go back to a solo 2 in the back room, but want a cable tuner as well. Decisions decisions, that will unfortunately cost money

Further update, solo 4k arrived today and has been set up, even got Oscam working without hassling you guys !! 1st impressions are it's very quick, especially on boot, boots quicker than the duo 2. Thanks for the advice guys

get new lnb on dish sky wideband and switch unicable in settings. Recording up to 16ch on one cable thats good option on solo 4k. got this lnb on stock. They supplied with sky q boxes.

thanks
