duo2 remotes I really like the newer style layout so don't want to use the older duo type remote but is it just me or are the quality of the newer remote no where near as good as the earlier versions I used the early one 2 years no problem & it still works no problem but the later type I have had the original one lasted about a year & two non original replacements about 6 months each seems a bit harsh to have to buy a new original remote every year to me once the buttons become unresponsive what do you guys think are there any remotes I am not aware of that may be worth a try I currently have an all4one set on the basic functions which is ok except it don't have all functions available so still have to use the original at times

yes i had looked at the harmony remotes my issue is i really like the later std type remote lay out most of the time even if its dark i can find what buttons i need first time so its personal prefference rather than nessecity if i was to use another layout i may as well use the older one i have as it works fine i like the idea of a touch screen remote but havent seen one i like the look of yet

Youve talked yourself into another VU+ remote then just dont buy a clone one.

Mine has been in use since the day the duo2 was released and it get some hammer with me still going strong.

yes I think you are right maybe I was unlucky with the original one it started playing up when it was only about 11 months old the usual thing buttons did not respond quite as quick as normal once it was another couple of months old 3 or 4 buttons were hadit oh well a newun it is then will have to check fat wallet is healthy lol

Don't know which is the new or old one but I have this and it's amazing. Have a rottie and a toddler so you can imagine the level of abuse it has received in the first 2 years and I never had any problems with it.

The original remote is not at good Quality level, is there a better replacement fot it

i have a one4all I use looks similar not all the functions but duz work what u need most of the time the problem I have is I like the remote layout it came with so the older duo remote works great but for me its not a comfy feel I am now on third copy & second original on top of the one4all
