How to view more: FTA channels using OpenATV 5.3

Please can someone help
I have Vu+ Duo2 and have installed OpenATV 5.3


I have installed 80CM Dish and Ku-band LNB for satellite viewing


All set at Astra 28.2°E, Frequency 12522 V 27000 otherwise known as Joy TV frequency.


Location: South East Nigeria.


After blind scanning,I can only receive just quite a few channels like: Core Tv, Joy news, African Movie Net, Galaxy TV and church channels.
There are multiple other FTA channels found but they are not showing like: Bein Sports, Al Jazeera, BBC, France24 etc


My questions are:
(1) Which plugin do I need to download from the feed, install and activate it so that those unshown channels(eg BBC) will start showing.
(2) If I need to insert Biss Key, where can I get it and how can I install it
(3)Is there Emulator files in the feed that aids more FTA satellite viewing

1st not sure 28.2e reach's nigera so you may well be looking at another satellite altogether.

Next won't need an emulator if you are looking to view free to air only channels. You will need an emulator if you are looking to view non free to air. Those other channels will most likely be encrypted and you will need maybe need access to a server.

Why not install full kodi or use a back up image with kodi already installed and you will have access to all movies and tv shows and live streaming.

28.2° east both Astra 2F and 2G have a West african Beam with 'Multi TV' package which we in the UK cannot receive i assume the OP is talking about this channel package and maybe a few of the others that are on that beam

But could you please point me on what else I should do since we are not using fast speed internet (eg 4G LTE) here, while 3G we have is unstable (goes on and off at average of 3minutes), its also extremely unaffordable for live streaming on KODI. So which emulator can I use for satellite ( not cable or terretial) viewing from OpenATV 5.3 feed/ plugin browser? Have in mind that I have searched other satellites without success, hence it wouldn't be nice fo me to dump my newly purcharsed Vu+ Duo2 with 2 years warranty I bought in Europe in less than two months ago.

Just because you have an emulator/softcam on your box it does not mean you will be able to view any channels that are not free to air. To work without using the internet the keys need to be available which intern means the package needs to have been hacked. If you could get a stable internet connection you could google cccam.server or cardsharing and this may open the channels for you. This forum does not allow detailed discussion of cardsharing.
