How to update OpenVix?

I am still still on Apollo.165 and if I go Menu -> Setup -> Software update, I get a black screen and a error mentioning something about a software problem.

You can not perform an online update between different image ranges. The Apollo download server was deleted.

Make a settings backup.
Flash a new image. Use USB or Image Manager
If the settings backup is on your HDD/USB flash drive, you will be prompted to restore the settings you had made. Say yes, this will contain your channels/cam config files and other personalisations.
Re-install you cams and other plugins/skins

LCD4LinuxWill do this today after the game.

Is it the one on media/hdd/back-up? I am mostly interested in small settings like number of rows, colours, settings, etc, as I would like to install plugins separately.

Also, anything else I should be aware of? Like the LCD4Linux issue someone posted on here?
