How to configure the LCD on vu+duo2?

what image u got on it mate could tell me a bit more please

I would sugest u use the black image

try using LCD4Linux

you could always download other owners skins.... some are better than others, im sure you'll fing something that you are after

Basically it will come with a default set up.Go into menu/set up/display/lcd4linux and you can configure the LCD display mate.It is a pain to start with but you will get the hang of it as the screen is displayed on the telly for you to see what you are creating or adjusting etc.
The main ones to set are set idle and set on.all you need to do is turn on the display which is the first line of the lcd config setting when in lcd4linux then use blue button on remote to choose the screen like "set on" and set idle once on the one you want make the display and save it..it is quite easy once you get going.
the LCD4linux plugin is built into vix and pli images and dont need to be installed.
for the VFD display download a skin from plugin/skins menu if your on vix there is 3 or 4 you can pick from.

For me Blackhole was the worst image i have tried for setting up the LCD display and i had even more hassle trying to sort out the VFD

hello I have just bought a duo 2 and got the Vix image on it ,and the screen on the front of the duo where the clock is its bright green how could I change the colour as its to bright for me hope you can help cheers

Try altering settings in lcd4linux thats what i did
