hi all.
so I have this issue on all 4 of my vu+duo and also my vu+duo2

I am running vix 3.0
I can run cross epg fine.
its setup for opentv s*y 28.2 and 28.4
its set to download to my HDD and update at 7am every morning

on a whole its fine. (althought some morings the boxes seems stuck on cross egp)

however I notived that even thought the tv programmes are populated for the channels some of the programmes are missing the synopsis info.

eg. sky1 all programmes listed this week if I goto wed at 9pm there a programme called strikeback. all the synopsis is missing for this channel. there are a few others missing. some oddly show on the sky1+1 so the info is there..

anyone know why this maybe occurring ?

Id normally advise reinstalling the plugin but if all boxes are the same im not sure the plugin is at fault.

Are all boxes running VIX ? If they are then its possible it the image itself or the version of crossepg running in vix. It could even be a skin issue.

yes VIX on all.

I did uninstall the plug in last night and try another plugin 0.62 however I have 2 new issues now.

1) the source keeps reverting back to internal flash and wont see the HDD (ive tried unmounting and remounting hdd)
2) the location of cross egp has now moved. it use to be under manu, setup, system ,epg, cross epg.. since installing again its now in menu, setup, corss epg ( can you change the location on the menu plugins install to??)

v frustrating. grrr

Setup system is fine for the install location.

When does it revert back to flash atfer a reboot ?

Install 0.81 again and see how a fresh install of that version goes.

do you have a link to a know working version of cross epg 0.86 I looked in downloads and couldn't see one...
also on the older images e.g vix 3.0 there is no option to delete epg data. how can I do this to start the download as a fresh

Is it not in Plugins then press green mate ?

I'll check and upload to downloads mate

green button on plugin menu (to install plugin) I just "sorry feeds are down for maintenance"

thanks for that.. ive done that on the telnet..
however cross epg is still pulling in blanks for programme synopsis on certain programmes..

what channel mate and Ill check mine
so is this in epg mode or infobar/second infobar, would imagine both ?

check sky1 tomorrow around 9pm programme called strikeback. there no tv synopsys about the programme.

if I press epg so it brings up full page of egp I get the programme synopsys at the top of the page. however some programmes are just blank. and oddly there maybe a +1 version of the channel which populates the info for the programme an hour later.

right just checked and its fine here

you using OpenTV or Rytec?
