For feck sake i have tried everything.i have no channels and tune failed no matter what i do.
I am on openpli 3.0 vu+duo.set up box perfect did a complete back up as was experimenting and flashed back up... back to box. That all went well but now i have nothing just a channel list but no channels..Just getting TUNE FAILED,scan is not picking up a single channel either.????Baffled me..no telly.

I don't suppose you have another box to check if something like your lnb is working ?
My son bought a duo a while back and one of his tuners has never worked since the day he bought it, but its unlikely that both your tuners would have failed at the same time.

Are both tuners connected and set correctly? Have you checked f plugs? easy to unwind when swapping receivers etc.

Hi mate,i have found a problem.I am only on a single feed at present until i put dual cable/feed in so was only using tuner A i have spent hours trying to figure stuff out then decided to change the feed from tuner A to tuner B and bingo every channel.so it looks like tuner A is knackard so the box is going back unless its a daft thing is there a way to positively test the tuner i know its knackerd just wondering in case....shame i only got it today.

Were both tuners configured? Golden rule is settings must match hardware. If receiver is told tuner B is using 28.2 then it will expect to be able to use it. I don't know if it tries a different tuner.

Easiest way is to disable one at a time and test.

Once you have confirmed, setup the one with no cable as loopthrough of the one with the cable. This will give you ability to watch view/record more channels simulataneosuly. can't remember if it is transponder or quadrant.

so are you saying configure tuner b to nothing connected and just use A cofigured to 28.2E to test?.at the moment i have both configured on 28.2E.. what is a little confusing is port A and B on each tuner..what are they configured too?I know port A is configured to 28.2E what about port B?.sorry never had twin tuner. Also tuner B was only able to scan channels and found 912 but still can not watch.Tuner A scans no channels at all.
Many thanks for the help i am a little mis everything as i set up as i always do.everything was fine till i tried to flash latest Openvix..it flashed as normal but on start it just froze on STARTING so flashed back to the back up image i made and got tune failed.?Both tuners show in ABOUT menu..Do i need to flash a bootloader or drivers or something?.
now its the same on every image i flash openpli 3.0 BH 1.7.9

Many thanks

nope tried the lot getting nothing via tuner A and i can not watch from tuner B

The one with no sat feed should be set to "not configured"

The one with sat feed should be set as simple, single, 28.2.
(You are probably set as simple, diseqc a/b. Just change to Single)

Have you triple checked fplug is screwed into cable properly and no loose braiding touching centre core?

Hi again i have checked everything.i have put my dreambox back and works fine so not sat feed.
I also had tuners set up as you indicated ftp latest rats and still nothing in scan.
I have tried Vix-openpli 3.0-B.H 1.7.9-d00ds back up image-my own image i backed up when it was all perfect..still nothing.
All the same image is fine everything as it should be but nothing in scan and all give tune failed.
many thanks

Satellite guys just been fitted new Quad LNB and dual coaxial for dual feed.Checked dish alignment and signal strength both cables 99.9%.
so thats that out the way so box now has twin feed but still same old problem tuner A snr 0% tuner B 99% snr in box.
So it has to be a dud tuner A as i have just scanned B and found 971 channels,
Going to try one more clean install of Vix and after that????? box goes back.?

Yes sir sure is....

Is there any type of fix for a duff tuner.these on here are not like other tuners they are embedded into board so no way to replace or switch,

I'm just wondering why your not getting any channels on the good tuner. My son is ok with his on just one tuner.
Did you try to flash an image that required a bootloader on to the box.
I know the clones wont accept some images and maybe that could be causing your problem.

Hi Tuner B gets 972 channels.I have flashed loads of images and all are fine except tuner A finds zero channels for every image i flashed,vix-vti-opli-B.H all the same outcome everything as it should be less the tuner A with 0 channels in scans everytime.

Ok i know on the genuine Duo you can solder a new tuner in. Not sure about the clone.

I am not sure about it either seems to be one solid unit. What i dont get is both tuners show in About. When to ferrari oem thread and told to install a certain image and it would fix tuner issue, but outcome the same Still no tuner A
