turning vu+duo into server

are there any how to instrcutions on how i can turn my box into a server for my friedns and family ?

I would rather use oscam as a server and mgcamd as client (newcamd protocol ), more secure IMO . Just remember : if one of your users has ability to send EMM to your card (autoupdate) ,he would be able to see UA of ur card (serial number)-- make sure you trust this fella .....

which image are you using?

black hole is my favorite

You will need to download the oscam for that image. I recommend build 4754.

You will then have multiple files of similar name. You need to ftp the appropriate file for that image/receiver to the appropriate folder for that image. Im not sure what that is on the black hole image but is often usr/bin. For example in the vix 2.0 image it is usr/softcam. Once you have transfered the file you need to change the name of it to just oscam. I believe you will need to use either oscam-svn4754-powerpc-tuxbox or oscam-svn4754-mips-tuxbox. After this you need to chmod it to 755 and restart enigma2. If all is well you will now have Oscam in your installed softcam list.
